time to cook now
I really enjoy Nigella Lawson's books.
I've never
been a big fan of
cooking books - i enjoy cooking
but without written recipes.
For me, reading through Nigella Lawson's books
are fun and inspiring - not just for the reading,
but for the cooking as well.
Thanks to her, I've made some delicious and
fun foods this year.

local tomatoes
i made some oven "dried" tomatoes this week.
they were delicious and i'll try
this again. Differently.
Thank goodness for hot-house
tomatoes. they're not as wonderful
as local, field tomatoes . . .
but they taste fresh and sweet and
all Tomatoey.
not like plastic tomatoes.
The Lentil salad recipe
that was partly shown in an earlier
post is from the "express"
book by Nigella Lawson.
I think Nigella is fantastic.
I wish that she lived on my block.

anticipation
s
i recently purchased
this fun and fabulous cookbook
by Nigella Lawson.
it's so much fun to read,
and to be honest, i'm looking forward
to making many of these recipes.
I've never actually said that before.
my blue dishes are all ready
to share in the fun.
