Body of Land
Have a look
at this moving video by the Canadian artist,
Faye HeavyShield.
Faye narrates the video of her
very personal work entitled:
Body of Land.
I found it to be very personal, powerful, emotional and moving.
Her work has been on exhibit
in the National Gallery of Canada.
Thank you, Faye for bringing us this work.
I know that all of my stitiching
and needlework friends
of all backgrounds will
really Get this.
Here is the video
of Anna Von Mertens
working on her project.
Anna's work was featured in
The Renwick Gallery of the
The Smithsonian Museum of American Art
exhibition:
40 under 40, Craft Futures
I just saw this terrific video
for a book titled The Humans
by Matt Haig.
I hope you can take
four minutes to watch it.
The video is engaging,
thought provoking and
best of all: it's fun.
Now i really want
to read Matt Haig's book.
