Cotton . . . in progress

For quite a long time, i've been
working on a "log cabin style"
blanket. While i certainly
haven't been working on
it steadily every week,
this project

is always on my mind.
My plan is to complete
the blanket in the near future.

It's being knit with Rowan's
"Denim" cotton. It
has a lovely soft feel and a wonderful
practical weight.
Not only that, but it washes up
marvellously. That's an important
step when working with the "denim"
as it shrinks in length after washing.
A step that you must take care to
do before moving on to knit the next panel.

i really love this blanket.
(and i Love Tulips too.)

knittin' kitten

My mother's cat
is amused by
my knit cotton cloths.
I was told that a complete
inspection by the
Cat of the House was
carried out and the
cloths do pass muster.

cotton with a plan. Or without.

Really,
i had a plan for this yarn.
and since then,
i've changed my mind
several times.
Time to make a cup
of tea and re think things.
