The Knitting Companion
and i have, of course,
several projects on the go.
One can never have just One Event
in the air. That would be:
Just not our style.
This week, to start the
New Year,
i have restarted two projects
that were started Quite Some Time Ago.
A very big project
became the big priority,
and then other things got in the
way of finishings.
But now: aha.
our mission is to get these
two Languishing projects
on the road to completion.
In the meantime,
i hope you know where
your colourful little umbrellas are.
Because, it is so true.
Life can go by very quickly.
Celebrate All of the good times.
Cheers !
I just found This Link,
to the poster
for the Sketchbook project.
Go and have a look.
Isn't it great ? ?
what do you know.
it's Wednesday already.
And now,
Wednesday is almost finished.
and i am doing the banking,
and a nice little mini-truck is cleaning our sidewalk
(clearing snow) and adding
Grit so that we don't slip.
All is right with the world.
So that zooming you hear,
is the sound of Wednesday
swishing by, not by the snow clearing machine.
Tomorrow,
some knitting,
some work on the Sketchbook
(of the Sketchbook project)
and some
vital visiting .
so, here we are in a new year.
a chance to start all over
again, so to speak.
This month,
a certain someone will
be thinking of what to do with the
new and pretty buttons from
the Purl shop in New York.
Last year, i made a Linen
hand towel. Inspired by
the fun ladies of
Mason-Dixon Knitting,
and one of their fab books,
I am happy that i made this
single towel. It has a great
weight and drape.
The towel was a gift, so i have
no way of knowing
if it will ever be used.
However, i have bought
some lovely brightly coloured linen
for two more towels.
I can assure you that they will Not be
sent off as gifts to accompany
the first towel.
They will stay here with me.
