my fountain pen awaits

i'm working on my third box of Christmas cards.
i Love Christmas cards.

but why is it such
a challenge to purchase
cards that don't require
a special marker to write inside without
the ink pooling up ? or smearing.
or just not showing up at all.
argh.

and i probably don't
even need to mention that this is the case
for the envelopes, too.
My Fountain pen is all set and ready for lots of
signing -
however, it's my fume-inducing
Sharpie marker
that's bearing the brunt of the work today.

The poodleyboy and i are going out for
a little stroll now.
My head needs a little time out
from the Sharpie marker.
