it's not You, it's me

this yarn is great. Bouncy and soft.
Something that knits up into
a delicious and gentle fabric.
Something that makes you say
"i can't wait to wear this."


however, i am foolishly
knitting
this deep olive shade
on Dark coloured needles.
and i'm knitting in a poorly lit environment.
And my lovely, dark and shiney needles
seem to be much slippier than i'm
accustomed to.

So i'm having a bit of difficulty.

... it's not the yarn.
It's all me.
but i'm not breaking up
with the yarn . .
it's just hard to stick with it
under these conditions.
Maybe i just don't have
the fortitude for slippy & dark
just now.
