Red tape day

today, i did some of the "government Office" visits
that you need to get through when you move to a new
country.


My credit rating doesn't follow
me to my new country ....

Apparently, my driver's licence doesn't either.
To apply for a local (California)
driver's licence, i have to take a written
test and then a driving test !
For some reason, my driver's licence from
Canada just doesn't suit them here.
