What's not going on ...

There is a Christmas tree in the lobby
of our apartment building.
I still can't believe i'm going to be
here, in an apartment in California,
for Christmas.
And of course, without any snow.

The Knitting Companion has not
yet noticed the Christmas tree. We're
both a bit tired and punchy.

I've been waiting for the shipment
(delivery by truck, not by ship) of our
clothes. and a few household items.
and Knitting. Of course, knitting.
Very nice Bernie of the local company
who will be arranging my delivery called
to say they still haven't received my shipment.
They were expecting it to have
arrived on Monday. Bernie and i spoke
again this morning. I was quite hopeful
when i heard his voice on the phone.
But no, Bernie was calling to say they
still haven't seen my truck yet.

Please let it be found.
