musings on the new land

here, in san francisco
it is November.
Just like the city I left, Montreal,
it is indeed November.

however, in my new city, many of the trees still have their leaves.

their Green Leaves.
There are flowering bushes and shrubs.
They're actually Outside.
Right now, in Montreal, they have snow.

for California, this is not at all bizarre.
But i'm not accustomed to

this sort of climate.
so for me, this is all Very surreal.
