today's little update

it' cannot JUST be me,
it took forever this morning for the blog to let me in to post.
i can't tell you how frustrating i find this.
Granted, i don't have a whole lot of Patience at home these days.
I work best in a quiet environment.
and lateley, my work enviroment Shakes, rumbles and Rattles.


there is a huge amount
of construction going on directly behind our house.
This means lots of noise & very
frightening episodes of our house shaking and rattling.
It's getting on my nerves.
That's the tidiest way to sum it up.
Even the knitting companion
has taken a great dislike to being outside in the garden.

in the meantime, i shall write about more peaceful things.



We're going
to have a houseguest this week. and i'm making
a list of pleasant places to go and things to do.
(maybe visit the Montreal Museum of fine arts)

Not only that - i have a big list of
Work: Things To Do
that has to be dealt with. Not news for anyone because
i realize everyone has a LIST of work to be done, but
my work list is starting to scare me.

so to lull me into a false sense of
