I had a lovely visit last month to see the
Exhibition of work by Emily Carr
when CanKnitian came to Montreal to visit.

Here, you can enjoy the luscious summer
colours of a skein of silk.
I received this suprise gift recently.
there's enough here to make a slim scarf.
Just beside the skein, you can see a bit of the
completed, green silk & cotton scarf. It's a wonderful
"summer weight" scarf and has been very handy.










i have a novel to recommend.
it's not often that i take the time
to read novels these days.
I used to be an Avid reader, but stopped because
all the time i spent reading, i wasn't doing my
own creating or designing.

last month i read this marvellous novel
"The Kite Runner", lent to me by my very generous
neighbour.
