How was the trip ?

It was a
lovely day for a trip
to the Laurentians.
A day away
from work, deadlines, more deadlines
and all that is to follow.
(Knitting Companion and i are
back at work today).


However, it was very difficult
to actually see any of the mountains,
since it was a Rainy, foggy day.
The trees have started to change
colour. They were quite lovely.
The fog made the photos a bit of
a challenge.

So:
imagine the Beautiful,
majestic Laurentian mountains.
Now, imagine a huge mountain
in the background of this photo.
It's there, you just
couldn't see it for the fog.




We stopped at a lake for
a bit to stretch our legs.
The Companion thought
that the ducks
were absolutely fascinating.
The ducks however,
did not share
the sentiment about the Companion.
