Art for Empire
Recently, i visited the Museum of Fine Arts,
here in Montreal.
The two views you see above,
are both the Fine Arts museum - just
different buildings across the street from each other.
The big exhibition right now is
"Catherine the Great - Art for Empire".
billed as Masterpieces from
the State Hermitage Museum of St- Petersburg.

thank you for writing about this exhibit, nadine-- i am going to make an extra-big effort to drive in to see it before it's over. a big artist's date.
and: passport woes: oh, dear. most definitely, yes, it's always when you need important papers that you realize they need renewing. ouch. don't let it get you too stressed, it is just one of life's little bumps.
