Tuesday of Soctoberfest ...
And it's raining again.
not heavy rain, but it's raining.
Sherbrooke & parts of Southern Québec
had terrible flooding yesterday because of the vast amounts of rain that have fallen.
The knitting companion & i are waiting,
STILL, for the electrician to show up today.
last night we (the knitting companion and i, not electrician)
finished the second sock of the regia pink stripey socks. !

these cute socks will be a birthday present for a Very special
friend who is celebrating a birthday in a big way this year.
no news on the Man-Sock for the time being...
and in non knitting news:
i have my application sent out for a show in Newfoundland for later this year.

Psst, guess what I did? I ordered some Regia Canadian edition sock yarn to be delivered to my Mom and Rolf is going to bring it back...just right for more of the Socktoberfest!

I absolutely adore the yarn you used for the Regia stripe-y socks...can you tell me what it is? Your Mountain Colors socks look beautiful too (as does your Knitting Companion- so soft looking!)
