This is a favourite charm bracelet.
It's a lovely Kate Spade doodad, complete
with slices of Orange, Lime and maraschino cherries.
"drinks umbrellas" included.
it's so much fun to wear and most
certainly acts as a conversation piece.
City views.
Close to home, to be precise.
Above, my fantastic yellow flower....
The Knitting Companion and
i really enjoy this terrific, unusual
plant.
Say hello to the July
sky on my street.
Below, a view of the
July-landscape & garden from our
kitchen window. A bit different from the
Winter time views! now the sculptures
are surrounded by green plants.
As opposed to .... up to their necks, in snow!

or you will be forced
to like what you get."
(George Bernard Shaw)
oh, i just adore this quote:
"Shock value only lasts so long."
(Robert Longo)
and, while you are here,
i share today one of my favourite
sunset photos. I took this photo
overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

a very small, yet poetic tunnell.
one of my favourites, in all of Montreal,
and anywhere at all. This photograph
was taken in the winter. The snow to the
side of the road is a hint that it wasn't
taken at this time of the year.
My friend
Cathy shared this lovely video with me.
I think it's well worth sharing
with you today.
I am quite sure you will enjoy it.

and in domestic news...
the water will be turned off
today,
all day long, here at home.
Hmmm.
That's not so fun, but at least
we had a few hours of warning.
