Minou of the wild

The Knitting Companion has
always enjoyed watching wildlife.
This past week, he had a new view
of one of the neighbourhood cats.

I love the way the view from our kitchen
varies so wonderfully
from one season to the next.

at the end of June.

something sweet

i love this coloured sugar.
while the colour calls out bright orange,
it does not have any extra flavour. it's simply,
coloured sugar. I think it makes a cheerful
addition to otherwise sweet things.
Well, perhaps the cheerful factor is
limited to the lucky person who
gets to spoon in the colour.
I like to mix this bright orange with
"regular" sugars.

Simple fun.
Take it where you can.
