actual knitting
I wonder whatever
has become of these
very cute buttons.
They're made of pink
felt. I gave them as a gift last Christmas.
I don't ever plan to ask the recipient,
I don't need to know. It's comforting to know
that the buttons are in fact
going to be used on something wonderful.
In the meantime, here with the
Knitting Companion, we have been
working on our cotton Blanket. Well, I have
been knitting and he supervises of course.
The blanket is increasing slowly.
Now that another section is in place, i
think i'll put it aside for a few weeks while
i get some other projects started.
Blanket knit with Rowan's "denim".

books
Now i'm wating for another notebook
in the post.
I've signed up for the
2012 Sketchbook project
with Art house Co op.
Have a look at the Link for
the Art House Co-op. They're making
changes & adjustments, daily. Check
back if things don't work as you think
they should today. You can even have
a look at the different participants.
In the meantime, i have my Fiction
Project to finish up.

quote thanks to Auguste Rodin
today we thank
Auguste Rodin (1840-1917)
for this beautiful quote:
"Work lovingly done,
is the secret of
all order and all happiness."

lovely and inspiring
"First, lay down your head
then one by one
let go of all distractions.
Embrace the light and let it guide you
beyond the winds of desire.
There you will find a spring and
nourished by its sweet waters
like a tree you will bear fruit forever."
Rumi
Have you watched Friday's wedding?
wasn't it fun to see the
clothes, the hats,
the horses!? and of course,
the bride looked fabulous.
It's not often that i say that i like
such & such a bridal gown. but i actually
loved that wedding gown.
Weddings can
be such fun
and of course lovely celebrations.
I certainly enjoyed all the "pretty".
