cotton with a plan. Or without.
Really,
i had a plan for this yarn.
and since then,
i've changed my mind
several times.
Time to make a cup
of tea and re think things.

poodle ponders his day
Well, maybe the
Knitting Companion isn't
actually pondering his "day", but he
sure is having a nice time with his toys.

knitting of the Linen
lest you think we've not
been knitting here at the
home of the Knitting Companion,
i offer up some knit.
this is a humble swatch/sample
to see how this new linen (new to me)
knit up. This image shows the sample
un washed and yet unironed.
but i know you'll appreciate the cranberry
colour and the way the stitch detail pops.
the linen is
louet's Euroflax, fine/sport weight.
i had read that the linen
was now much softer than ever
before. and i can honestly tell
you that i was impressed
at how Unrough & un-linen-like
this yarn was to
work up this swatch.
