knitting. Silk and wool blend

i'm knitting a hat.
this one isn't a gift or a secret:
it's just the slowest hat Ever.
I started it in JULY.
fabulous yarn, (silk and wool blend)
but it's been so boring to knit. No one's
fault but my own. I thought i wanted a
Very Plain Hat.
Well, get cold & your hat suddenly becomes
a bit more important.

oooooooooh

i've been feeling under
the weather today.
But it seems, so has
almost everyone else.
Not good timing, either - as i'm
not finished with the
Christmas preparations.
(oh. are there presents to wrap?
ahem.)

the Knitting Companion has been
keeping close company today
as i drank gallons of tea.
He does his job Gloriously well.

coffee

we, at the kingdom of
Knitting Companion,
have a new coffee-brewing pot.
this pot was a long time coming,
in many ways.
Not least of which it
was on "back order" when it
was ordered.
So now, we have a new machine.


and look at that, our machine is
"approved,
by the European Coffee Brewing Centre".
Are you amused ? i most certainly am.

i have a pig

This amusing pig arrived in the mail.

This is fine proof, that you never know
just what you'll find in your mail box.
