it's a much darker shade of Moss Green
than it appears here in the photo.
the room must have been too bright.

this yarn is great. Bouncy and soft.
Something that knits up into
a delicious and gentle fabric.
Something that makes you say
"i can't wait to wear this."
however, i am foolishly
knitting
this deep olive shade
on Dark coloured needles.
and i'm knitting in a poorly lit environment.
And my lovely, dark and shiney needles
seem to be much slippier than i'm
accustomed to.
So i'm having a bit of difficulty.
... it's not the yarn.
It's all me.
but i'm not breaking up
with the yarn . .
it's just hard to stick with it
under these conditions.
Maybe i just don't have
the fortitude for slippy & dark
just now.
Knitting news,
the in-house-Poodle guy absolutely
loves this yarn.
it's a new skein of
the Hand Maiden ... "Casbah".

is this ever soft & cushy.. 
I have no idea about the botanical
names or even the Common names
of these plants.

Something new came home with me.
and it wasn't yarn. (surprise ! )
shoes.
You may notice that i had a helper
of the Fuzzy variety
while taking the photos.
I thought that Julie
might want to see these
shoes - i know she loves shoe shopping
when she's not busy knitting or keeping shop.

In recent weeks, you saw a large pink

as it has started

For me, a lovely pink wool sock
with cables is a terrific thing.
