Strong ...

if they grow at all, grow strong,"

"It's ironic, but creative folks often have to deal with
some sort of disadvantage.
Like Oscar Peterson kept going on
the piano even though he had arthritis."
(Kerry Waghorn)
Ironic? what do you think? i'd love
to hear your ideas.
Me, i don't think it's ironic at all. For many people,
being creative cannot
entirely stop because of a hinderance (physical
or otherwise).
It has to come out some how.
Even if the medium has
to be changed, the artistic expression needs to
be released.
"Truth is ever to be found in simplicity."

The big ball of yarn
that you saw last week
has finished having its "swatch time"
which means .... it's turning into something.
It's actually very cushy sock yarn.
Very.
of course, you can make anything you
please with this decadent, luscious yarn.
This lovely skein was a birthday gift.
at the time, i thought "socks? from this?"
but now, it just seems to be such a lovely
& decandent idea ... i can't wait to have socks.
mmmm.
