This was my "hooray, i finished my
proposal and it's sent out in the mail"
celebration knit that i started very late last night.
i tried to post late last night,
but the blog was just not in the mood.

I worked ultra late last night
on a proposal for a gallery.
I've just come back from a trip to the post office to
send off the proposal. Fingers crossed that its
met with Enthusiasm and a big Yes
(or Oui, in this case).
I'm not finished with a second deadline job,
but i did want to share some good Knitting news.
I've finished the knitting part of a nice pair
of socks.
Not fancy socks, but oh, so soft. they're knit
with Lorna's Laces, in a shade of amethyst. No photos
yet - as i still have to sew in the ends.
And it's not the day for sock photography, i must get
back to work now.

I had the opportunity
to visit it over the weekend.

brother has arrived for the day, and our
holiday-guest has just gone to the airport.
We've had a very busy week.
My exciting news - i have new shoes.
High, shiny black boots to be exact.

enjoying the company of family right now.
But in a day - - i must get down to business.
I need to set up a Business Blog ....
