prep time

i've printed out my electronic plane ticket.
and it's all encrypted.
garbled. looks like elbow macaroni all
across the page. Yikes. Yikes.

starting to get ready

packing.

I don't think anyone likes packing.
At least i'm just packing for myself, not for other people.
(i'd really Not be good at that ! )

The one thing that's good about packing is thinking of which projects and pencil crayons will be coming along with me.
Actually, i always find it hard to
pare down for packing.
I've never been good at packing lightly. I'm bringing a very tiny sketchbook (a must) and a tiny (weight matters) assortment of coloured pencils. And of course, there will be some knitting to bring.
And do i need a book ? a magazine ?

conference you ask ?

this is the conference i'll be attending.
It's called "Clasp" and this year it's being held
in Denver, Colorado, in the United states.
I'll be there to take these sessions.





I've never been to Denver,
but i won't be visiting any of the sights.
I'll be attending the conference &
flying straight back home on Sunday night.

Several people
have asked about all the Get-out & About
activities, but i'm there for work,
not for vacationing ....
plus i'm paying for this adventure myself. It's not
like being sponsored .... or having "Your Company"
pay for your whole trip.

so today, i'm doing laundry.
and more laundry. How did things
get so behind ?
