time to share the art

at the Musee / museum

time for a visit to the Museum of fine arts,
here in montreal.

The Emily Carr exhibition has started.
and even their website has been update.

espresso & something completed

sometimes it's nice to use the fancy little cups ...
say hello to a very special Espresso cup.
I think this one looks especially
summery.
This cup is a set of one;
which makes it all the more delightful.





Knitting content: I finished the
pair of brown "lorna's laces" socks
on the weekend. They're fabulously
soft to wear. If you've never
tried this yarn before, i highly recommend it.

mmmm...

There are some days
when you
really want your own type of comfort food.
Right now, that's rice pudding.


Usually i think of Rice pudding
as a wintery sort of treat.
but it also tastes very good
on a hot August day,
when your pudding is served very cold.
This time i cooked it with cardamom pods
and vanilla.
