More snow shovelling
we've had more snow.
(yes, again!)
Lots & lots of heavy wet snow.
Argh !
it snowed all afternoon & evening.
i had to shovel the walk and steps
by 5pm.
and it kept snowing through
the night.

this was the view (seen above)
of our garden on april 2nd.
and here
it is on april 5th. (see above)
We've had
even more snow in the past few days.
It's started to melt, but it
has been nasty-cold ever since.
Bitter cold.
Ah, and there is something to see at the end
of the garden stairs.
It's not newly planted shrubbery.
it's two broken branches from our lilac bushes.
Broken because of the weight of the snow.
The one branch is at least six
feet long and the other is over 7 feet long.
The knitting companion was thrilled
with the giant
wood-toy he found that morning in the garden.
mmmmmm - Fuzzy: that would
be some cotton
chenille this week.
thanks to Julie,
for being the keeper of Fuzzy cottons.
