Very cold friday in April.

it became bitterly cold yesterday.
some of the
snow did melt - but we still have a
generous quantity left.
and again today we have a nasty cold wind.
A Very good day to stay in and drink tea.
i have a special mug
i refer to as my "tea cauldron". it holds
an excessive amount. Just right for a cold
day like today.

with that cup of tea: such a good day to
read your latest magazines.

We have More snow

More
snow.
We had lots of snow in the last
day here in Montreal.
Very heavy wet snow.
And: we're expecting more.

I took photos early this morning.
They'll be here later on.

wise words from many ...

There are
many birthdays to celebrate this month.

To honour the birthdays,
what is to come,
and what has gone before,

i offer this collection:

"I do not wish to
become senile
before I've finished what

I've undertaken."
(Paul Gauguin)

"With age,
art and life become one."
(Georges Braque)

"Great work can come
at any stage."
(Will Barnet)

"None are so old as those who have
outlived enthusiasm."
(Henry David Thoreau)
