a bit late

Happy Birthday Cousine.

Maybe Knity Amy will come to montreal

Some visuals for the Einstein project

You may recall that the
Einstein project got
underway for
me only a short time ago.

I hadn't chosen my yarn (Fleece Artist's Curley locks)
until quite late in the game (therefore
very late start date for me).
This is
how much progress
i have to show to date.
There is no "garment" to view
so far. It's a large long
rectangle at this point.
A very soft and fluffy rectangle though.
Two views to give you an idea of colour &
texture. the first view
makes the yarn look more pale
than it actually is.

Grey's

i watch
Grey's Anatomy.
but not this week.
what's up with the programming ?

it wasn't on again this week
so in the meantime,
inspired by
Frozen Extremities,
i took the
Quiz.

and this is what i got:

"You're Meredith.

You don't always make the right choices,
but
you get points for trying,
bouncing right back
and starting over.
For being so "dark & twisty",

you have a surprisingly sunny outlook on life.

You're quick to jump into

new relationships but
just as quick to jump out.

After the example your parents set,
learning
to trust
someone else takes
just about
everything you've got."

so.

I'm in the mood

Really.

I'm in the mood for more rice pudding.

i think that's probably a normal "want"
for a Very very cold & snowy week.

sunny day

"One must always be careful not to let one's work be
covered with moss."
(Marc Chagall)

"He not busy being born is
busy dying."
(Bob Dylan)

It's a sunny day

It's another bright & Sunny
day today. Yesterday i got wind
burnt on my face, from walking with the
Knitting Companion.
Which is ironic, since there was so little
of my face showing.
It was minus 34 degress with the windchill.

It's very snowy here,
chez le
knitting companion...

you can see for yourself.

From George Eliot

I thought this was brilliant.
Too brilliant to keep to myself, as it were.

"It is never too late
to be what you might have been."
