It's not for lack of trying.
I found this terrific sign way before Christmas.
And then, never found it again.

think of this before ? )

The "sign" featured above
is available as a postcard

a bit of Rumi
"First, lay down your head
then one by one
let go of all distractions.
Embrace the light and let it guide you
beyond the winds of desire.
There you will find a spring and
nourished by its sweet waters
like a tree you will bear fruit forever."

Brr: You can say that again
tonight, it will go down to minus 25 degrees
in my fair city
of Montreal.
with the Wind chill factor, it will be minus 35 degrees.
No matter how
you think of it: this is Very cold.
Brr. it's cold.
But then - that's normal for
our part of the world (at this time
of year) .... unlike the
way this month started out!
