The Anticipation of the peonies
The month of June
will see the blooms on our peony bushes.
The knitting companion and i
await them with anticipation.
We're also growing some herbs.

The peony is called Mountain Rose in Welsh and it brings back vivid memories of very dark red ones in my GM's garden.
