What Tarot card are You ?
| You Are Strength |
![]() You represent both fiery energy and steadfast will. You are innocent and naive - yet unafraid and undaunted. Perhaps you don't have the most powerful physical strength... But your mental powers make up for any amount of muscle. Your fortune: Lately, you have been a pillar of ethics and moral strength. And while things may be difficult, your faith in yourself will come through. You may need to conquer the animalistic nature of yourself or others, with gentle force. Although this may seem like the darkest hour for you, victory is near. |
Thanks to Helen (Textile Goddess) for finding this !
rotten weather

it's raining.
Friday Morning in Montreal, Canada
Inspired by Margaret's photos earlier this week,
i'm sharing the bad weather here.
it's raining. Yes, right on top of all our snow.
Later today temperatures are expected to drop
rapidly. this will leave us with Ice.
Sidewalks are already treacherous this morning.
sounds like a good day to stay inside. ....

today's beverage
knitting poodle's view
Knit-Glee
Our Knitting Olympic time was made
more exciting than mere words can describe.
the Queen of Dyes came to visit us with a large
basket of woolies.
yarns that begged to be touched (and yes, we
were obliging).
OOOhhhhhh. Aaaaaahhhhhh!!!!
You can see the glee on Mona's face.
My hands were not too steady at this point.
Wool-Excitement got the better of me.
You can say we had a very good time. Very, very good.
No photos of K's Olympian project at this time.
We definitely
need daylight to record this feat.
K's project is not only her VERY first
sweater, but it is in Black. and SO very textured.
Let me tell you that it is beautiful and so very luscious.
Bravo, K!
There was pie

Last night, some montreal knitters
got together for some Olympic Knitting Celebration.
There was pie.
There was wool.
There was excitement and laughing.
There were some photos.
However, to protect the privacy of all concerned
(and due to technical challenges)
the photos are not very ...
bright. or easy to see. Let it be said that the
privacy of Mary, K & Jennifer will be
completely respected. You won't find evidence of
them here. but yes, they were there.
So bare with me here, and i will share a bit with you.
Pie. Now, you can't go wrong with Pie.

olympic knitting continues ...

The olympic knitting continues. Slowly.
The knitting companion has been a very big help.
It feels like it's about to snow any moment.
you can check out the weather for downtown Montreal
here.
we're off for a walk and to do some errands.
The knitting poodle loves shopping. He's in it
for the social aspect. He loves to meet people.
Most of the time, they're happy to meet him, too.
Thanks to Wannietta for the Candy heart Link.
She posted a "Passion Knits Here" heart to
the Canadian Knitting Olympic team site.
Tonight is the get together for the Knitting Olympics.

your forecast for this week....
From Georgia Nicols,
Weekly Horoscope: Sunday February 12, 2006
All Signs:
This week sudden surprises are afoot.
Many will be technological or computer-related.
You might move into another league by interfacing
with new technology - something beyond
programming your VCR. It could relate to aviation.
(Lucky ones will jet off in the big blue sky.)
Others will buy high-tech stuff
(at last! the 42" plasma!) or learn how
to text message on their cell. (Hint.)
Because fair Venus makes a lovely aspect
to lucky Jupiter some lovely things are
possible for us all. Thank goodness.
We all need a boost of good luck.
But then -- what is luck?
We think a rabbit's foot is
lucky -- but does the rabbit?
Show opening/ vernissage
On Friday night i went to
the Musée des arts contemporain here in Montreal,
for the opening of the show
of Anselm Keifer's work.
