Under the weather

"under the Weather".
now isn't that a lovely expression to say you're feeling
like you've been sucking on Donkey toes ?
i think i have the flu.
started feeling weird yesterday.
Knew i was really sick last night
when i didn't want to KNIT.

(horrors!).

and: i'm going to miss the knitting meet tonight. Grrrrrrrr.
have been SO looking forward to drinks with the knitting grrrls.
Grrr.

back to bed now.
oh: good news, the knitting companion is feeling much
better. what relief ! (for him & his worrying knitter).

Mr & Mrs. Clause

greetings from Mr and Mrs Clause.
they were wonderfully crafted by hand, by Joanne,
a member of the montreal knitting guild.
the pair of adorable North Pole dwellers are not
only cute to look at; they are hand puppets.
they will be flying to Germany in the mail very soon.

Well, at least some time this month.

and now, i need a cup of tea.

Sock news update:
the yellow & green socktoberfest socks are complete !

there are No photos yet - today was a busy day.
the knitting companion was under the weather.
He wanted to lay together all day & knit. Which
is not a bad thing. Just not always entirely possible.
